"The Chris Saub Trio- Mick's"

“A meticulously clean guitarist with a pure yet haunting voice, Chris Saub is respected by musicians and fans alike, and is a veteran of the Mick's stage. The CST was among the five finalists selected to open for Bon Jovi. Definitely for fans of polished, professional music.”

- Michael Campbell Omaha, NE - Mick's Music Weekly News

"Chris Saub Band- The Reader"

“Groovy, well-structured pop tempered with smart lyrics is what has made this Omaha trio a local fav. And trust me, listening to this latest release will be much easier than actually holding onto Venus, which always leaves us tired and sunburned.”

- Rob Jenkins Omaha, NE

"Chris Saub Band- City Weekly"

“Playing together under different names for nearly a decade, the Chris Saub Band was formed last year. Its new album, “Holding on to Venus,” has what Saub calls an eclectic mix of mainstream alternative rock sounds. 89.7 The River is currently playing the “I Saw Daisy” track from the new CD, which has influences from acts like the Goo Goo Dolls, Matchbox Twenty and Coldplay.”

"Aero Regalla, Star 104.5 Review"

"Aero Regalla" is Chris Saub's finest work to date. He reaches unbelievable heights with this solid collection of songs. Every tune is a show stopper and you will have a hard time deciding which song to have stuck in your head. I vote for "Mediocre" or "Ask me to Love You." If you don't own "Aero Regalla," run, don't walk to your nearest record store. Chris Saub is definitely the next big thing." - Cami- Morning Show Producer , Star 104.5 - KSRZ FM, Omaha

"Chris Saub, Pop Master, The Reader"

Pop Master

"Chris Saub has been gaining ground at local venues the past few years. After releasing a staggering three albums in 2005 and 2006 (and with a fourth being released this Thursday), there is little doubt as to Saub’s prolific nature. Playing for the majority of 2006 as a trio with Matthew Tobias on drums and Steve Packwood on bass, the upcoming release, Aero Regalla, was recorded with a host of musicians but will be played live primarily as a trio.

The band’s previous effort, Hummingbird Flies Laissez Faire was chock-full of intelligent pop music. The sound certainly has a retro quality, calling back tones of late-’70s rock and funk at times, but also manages to sound progressive and well-rounded. The tune “Come and I See the Light” is every bit as sonically relevant as any of John Mayer’s work (an artist Saub cites as an influence) and could easily offer a touch more substance to most FM radio fare.

"Aero Regalla - City Weekly Review"

Chris Saub’s new release, “Aero Regalla,” is a multifaceted effort that showcases the singer-songwriter’s considerable talents and explores several genres with varying degrees of success. Overall, the album is quite solid...

The highlight of the disc is definitely “Ask Me to Love You,” occupying the 11th slot out of 12 tracks. This song is an effortless blend of modern pop and adult contemporary sensibilities that sound a bit like a mature John Mayer or James Blunt. Saub’s collaboration with Nashville string arranger Chris Carmichael bore beautiful fruit as Carmichael’s exquisite string arrangements frame Saub’s songwriting to produce a gorgeous track worthy of VH1 or perhaps a Hollywood soundtrack.

Overall, though, “Aero Regalla” contains a little something for most any music fan and is definitely worth a listen.

"Chris Saub- Todd 'n Tyler Radio Empire Review"

“This CD is exactly like Led Zeppelin 4 meets the Urban Cowboy Soundtrack, except completely different. Aero Regalla is a great band name, but what kind of CD title is ‘Chris Saub?’ What does THAT mean? No, seriously, Chris Saub is an incredible artist and is always welcome in our studio anytime. This new disc is great. Check it out.”
