My name is Chris Sernel and I love designer denim!!

I’m probably best known (if I’m known at all) as the singer/songwriter of a cool little rock band called ESCAPE FROM EARTH. We’re from Chicago and we’ve hung out with some pretty cool people along the way! We were featured in a COCA-COLA commercial on MTV, we performed at the MISS USA Competition, had a full-page article in TEEN PEOPLE Mag, we’ve got some award winning songs (International Songwriting Competition, SongOfTheYear, Billboard Song Contest), played sold out shows at Chicago’s METRO and HOUSE OF BLUES, toured with the likes of Switchfoot, Butch Walker, Breaking Benjamin, Taproot, Quietdrive, CKY and we have more fun than should be allowed!

I’ve had the great honor and privilege of working alongside two of the greatest producers in the business. BOB EZRIN (Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper) and RAE DILEO (Filter, Veruca Salt) produced Escape From Earth’s 2004 EP “Three Seconds East.” I took what I learned from those guys and co-produced our follow-up LP “Who Do I Have To Kill” with Rae DiLeo. Both records have sold thousands of copies and my experience gained in the studio with these guys is priceless!

When I’m not busy escaping from earth, I focus my efforts on songwriting and producing other artists. I’ve co-written with some really talented people including producer/songwriter BOB EZRIN, JASON BLUME(cuts with Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Jesse McCartney and others), and a variety of up-and-coming artists both locally and nationally. I’ve had the distinct pleasure to have worked with the following artists either as producer, engineer, mixer, songwriter, co-writer or some combination of the aforementioned: Escape From Earth, Shock Stars, Par Avion, Becky Johnson, Beckon Q, Illustrate This Mess, Tubring, Super 8-bit Brothers, Rob Kleiner, Natalie Semkiw, Kelsey Montanez, Erika Lauren and many others!!

Bottom line is I love music. I love designer denim. I love making music while wearing designer denim. So let’s do it shall we?
