"Chris Shinn is a uniquely humble human, given the stature of his talents and accomplishments. Besides having one of the most beautiful voices on the planet, his humor is unsurpassed, his loyalty/friendship is unparalleled, and songwriting/musicianship skills on par or above the best. From his days with the marvelous CELIA GREEN, through the times when we first met when he was fronting UNIFIED THEORY, the band he helmed in the late 90's with members of blind melon, and pearl jam, into EVERYTHING IS ENERGY, he has consistently displayed charm, charisma, hope for the world of music, and an undying love for all things melodic and wonderful. His phenomenal sense of arrangement, tunings, lyrics and his unfailing musicality, without worry to commercial gain or acceptance, is quite the luxury in this world of instant sensations and hollow celebrity. He has constantly excelled in maturation of abilities and triumphed through wisdom and tuition. I, make that WE, are very fortunate to have such an uncommonly astounding being in out midst.
