Chrissi Poland

Chrissi never ceases to amaze her listeners. She has been compared to the greats, such as Aretha Franklin and Etta James, and yet she can bring the house to a silent standstill with dynamically sensitive quietness. Born and raised in Southern Massachusetts, Chrissi Poland is now one of the top singer/songwriter/performers in New York City. Live performance credits include background and lead vocals with legendary Stax artist Sam Moore (tours, Japan and Canada, NBC’s TODAY Show); Moby, (rock band, The Little Death, lead and background vocals); world famous drummer Dave Weckl (lead vocal, NAMM, Yamaha Groove Night). Favorite moments include a performance with Sting and Elvis Costello, a guest appearance with The Brian Blade Fellowship, and a win at The Apollo Theater's Amateur Night.
