chris has been nominated multiple time for The Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards up against artists like Diana Krall and Michael Buble .Chris is currently recording his fifth CD to follow on the heels of "Let The Ball Roll","Back To You","Real Thing" and his debut,"Room Inside My Heart"
“Let The Ball Roll” likens itself to artist's such as Sting, John Mayer and Stevie Wonder featuring 11 great tracks. "Real Thing" featured a Number 1 song on Canada’s premier Smooth Jazz station “Wave 94.7 FM” for an unprecedented 5 straight weeks. “Right Here, Right Now” featured Warren Hill on sax, who also appeared on Chris’ debut release “Room Inside My Heart”.
Chris’ first claim to fame was winning Toronto’s Q107 Homegrown competition with a band called “Regatta”, which subsequently signed an international record deal with BMG. Chris formed “Regatta” with Matthew Gerrard, another success story who now resides in Los Angeles. Regatta was a successful Canadian rock band but Chris knew his future was to embrace jazz and pop. When Chris released “Room Inside My Heart”, produced by Matthew Gerrard, it was the beginning of a solo career. It led to Chris working with Greg Kavanagh and his label Boardwalk Records to produce Chris’s latest CD “Back To You” as well as the previous, “Real Thing”.
Currently living just outside Toronto, Chris is doing what he loves best, making music with the synergy of his band for the world to enjoy. It does not get any better than that!
