Singer/Songwriter Chris Strazz is a Canadian Folk artist
who’s sound intersects with hints of jazz and blues to
suit the feel of each of his songs. Constantly being
compared to artists such as Jason Mraz, John Mayer,
and the like, Strazz is taking pieces of what he loves
to create an audible melting pot which he hopes will
give birth to a new, solidified sound. Chris released his
first EP “July” in the summer of 2012, which is also when
he stuck his first foot in the door of Canadian music festivals.
After performing along side world class acts such as Suzie
Vinnick, Oscar Lopez, Matt Andersen, The Lemon Bucket
Orchestra and Jory Nash, at the 37th Annual Summerfolk
Music Festival,he went home heavily equipped with kind
words and encouragement from many people he himself
looked up to. Chris Strazz’s music first played on the airwaves of canadian radio on August 22nd 2012 on 106.5 aboriginal voices, being played on their station across canada in Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa, and Winnipeg. As of January 7th 2013 His single "Heart Break Theatre" has been #1 on the top 10 countdown of York Region's Music Lynk radio for 5 weeks.
