Bio

Don't be fooled by the innocent face, Chrissy is a resourceful "Jill of all trades", who has been singing, dancing, and acting since she was a tiny tot, although singing was the love that obviously won out. Growing up as an "NYC theater brat", Chris performed at several regional and off Broadway theaters and supper clubs up and down the east coast, including the historic Fulton Opera House, The Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, American Music Theater, First Stage, Ephrata Playhouse in the Park, and Three Little Bakers and has had roles in shows such as Annie, Ruthless!, The King & I, Evita, South Pacific, Annie Warbucks, The Nutcracker, Babes in Toyland, Cinderella, Flower Drum Song, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Christy-the musical, Disney's Mulan-adapted for the stage, and Les Mis, just to name a few. Last year Chrissy self released her EP, "Relentless", which is currently available via all the online digital music stores such as iTunes, AOL Music Now, Yahoo Music Unlimited, EMusic, Napster, Virgin Digital, HMV Digital, MSN Music and many more. Her song "Real Woman" has been utilized/licensed for television shows such as the Fox series, "Prison Break", as well as the Showtime series "Masters of Horror". Her song "BIG" was also featured as the theme for the Flapping Crane’s comedy parody, "LaGAYna Beach: The Real O.C.", a comedic take on the OC. She has received terrestrial radio play on the Clear Channel station WRVV-The River, HOT 92 Harrisburg-PA, CBS' WGLS-FM-New Jersey, CBS station KYOU radio, and WKZL in North Carolina. In addition to mainstream radio, Chrissy's aptly titled powerpop fusion has been played on podcasts and online radio shows all over the world, most recently Japan, Scandinavia, England, Greece, NYC, Chicago and L.A., including Adam Curry's (of MTV fame) "Daily Source Code" show, as well as being played over 100 times on the show "Music That Lasts" (CBS/KYOU radio San Francisco), and the Tower Records site "Tower Pod". Chrissy's song, "My Slushy" also went to 1 on the IAC Music Big 50 chart. Chrissy has been a featured artist for London, England's "Punk Globe" magazine, as well being "Jam Studio Inc's Artist of the Month" in PA, and was even nominated for "Artist of the Year" by "StarShine Magazine" in NYC. Chrissy has been plugging away recording demos and doing session singing since her childhood. As of late, she's had the opportunity to collaborate with platinum producers Dow Brain and Brad Young of Underground Productions (their credits include: LFO, Aerosmith, Boston, Tracy Bonham), as well as the co writer of her song, "Big", Rich Cronin, who was formally part of the platinum hip-hop/pop rock trio LFO, and now VH1's "Mission: Man Band”. Chrissy has also worked with cowriter Taryn Murphy whose credits include cowriting and singing the theme song for the movie "Wisegurls" starring Mariah Carey. Other collaborator’s include Deanna Dellacciopa, whose music has been featured on the MTV reality hit, "Laguna Beach: THE REAL O.C.", as well as writer Sam Conjerti, writer for LFO and co-writer of Chrissy's song "My Slushy". In the past Chris has modeled for Sears and Macy's and has appeared in commercials, television shows, video, pilots, and industrials such as PopStars 2, Star Search 2000, Al Albert's Showcase and was a regular cast member of "Pete's Place", a children's variety/comedy show. She's participated in numerous pageants and competitions over the years, including Star Power and Showbiz. Chris has won several vocal scholarships to the prestigious Pennsylvania Academy of Music, and has training in classical, broadway and all pop styles of singing. She has studied dance at Koresh Dance Center in Philadelphia, as well as the Broadway Dance Center, and has training in tap, jazz, lyrical, ballet, gymnastics, belly dance, hip-hop, martial arts, voice and acting. She was in all of her school's Pennsylvania Music Educator's Association award winning audition groups including vocal ensemble, chamber choir, glee club, gospel choir and mixed chorus. Chrissy also honed her behind the scenes chops working for Warner Brothers Records recording artist's Head Automatica and Glassjaw as a webmaster and undeniable fan club president. So look out, Chrissy's eclectic mixture of pop, rock, and soul all rolled up with a little girl smile is going to be garnering mass appeal in the coming months, and you don’t want to miss out!
