"Popmatters - by:Larm"

A soul-bearing balladeer with booming vocal bravado, Christer Wulff sinks into the darkness with desperate Elliot Smith resolve, only to emerge a radio-friendly pop-rock troubadour. While his John Mayer-esque moments aren’t the most original, they demonstrate a depth of talent that, given time to distinguish itself, could easily set the Norwegian native a cut above other similarly minded, acoustic-toting warblers. - www.popmatter.com

"by:Larm Magazine"

Christer Wulff is probably going to break a whole bunch of young girls' hearts. He is the Norwegian Damien Rice, with sad songs about girls and big cities, and a bit of foul language while he's at it. And you got to admire his bald move writing a song about a girl named Jolene, and then joke about it afterwards. An excellent song by the way.

Wulff has a powerful voice, and his guitar-skills is not half-bad either. He even did a nifty little trick sampling his own guitar and voice, leaving the stage with the final song still going.

If you enjot the works of Damien Rice and Thomas Dybdahl, Christer Wulff should suit you just fine. - by:Larm Magazine

Bio

Christer Wulff comes from the northernmost tip of Norway, where the midnight sun brings about insomnia and the complete darkness reigns in winter. No doubt has these contrasts been an influencing factor in his diverse songwriting.

The last 5 years, this artist has resided in just as many countries, frequenting open mics and playing small gigs. Ironically it was while living in New York that his home made demo secured him a spot at the largest festival in Norway and at by:Larm 2007, the Scandinavian equivalent of South by Southwest. Other milestones to mention would be support for BigBang and Donkeyboy, both in 2009.

Christer released his first EP on a small independent label, CCAP, 21 August 2009. The release was followed by a tour of Noway and the EP can be found on Itunes or Spotify. Earlier the same year he was featured with the opening song on the compilation CD "Best of New York Songwriter Circle Vol. 1". The CD can be found at CDbaby.com/nysc.
