"Ghost Host Entertainment Newsletter, June 16, 2004"

I want to let you all know about 2 HOT new artists! Ladies first of course!

What do you get when you mix the style of Nnenna Frelon, the soul of Diane Reeves, with the spiritual flow of Yolanda Adams? I believe you would come pretty close to the recipe of Christi Bradford's debut CD "By All Means." "By All Means" is a smooth blend of urban, jazz with Christian lyrics. Let's just say whether you are Saved or unsaved, this CD will leave you feeling uplifted and have you pressing repeat. Honestly, hands-down, one of the Smoothest projects I have ever heard. Kinda like the first time I listened to Fertile Ground, pure soul with live instrumentation...back to basics! Thank the Lord! Christi teamed up with producer/songwriter/composer Donald Robinson, former music director and keyboardist for the late, great Grover Washington Jr., to create a soulful masterpiece. Get your copy Today...you won't be disappointed!

Bio

If you blended an urban/jazz sound with Christian lyrics, you would have this artist and band perfectly pegged! Singing of both the beauty of faith and the everyday lives we live, Christi reminds us of where we have been and points us to where we want to go. This is not our grandmothers' Christian music, but it would still touch her soul.

Currently residing in Fayetteville, NC, Christi has been singing since the age of 12. You might recognize her from Gospel Music Channel's Gospel Dream in 2005 where she was one of the ten finalists, opening for a few well-known Gospel artists, or from performances at Penn's Landing in the Gospel Showcase in 2004. She also placed in both the songwriting and performance segments of competition in the Gospel Music Association's Seminar in the Rockies in the Summer of 2003 and in the urban songwriting segment in the Summer of 2004. The band members, all accomplished musicians, are from Greensboro and High Point, NC and Danville, VA

When asked why she considers the music Christian, she replies, "There is so much about faith in God that is not explored in music. Sometimes, we are dealing with the glory of the cross, and at other times, we are dealing with the lady who cut us off at the light." She smiles. "I wanted to listen to music that meets me where I am and still encourages me to grow in Christ." She writes regularly and currently has a catalog of over 100 songs.

When not performing at local and regional venues, Christi is a worship leader at Family Fellowship Worship Center, where the pastor is T. L. Davenport. Her home church is Calvary Christian Center in Greensboro, NC, pastor Vince Hairston. She has just completed her first independent album with producer/songwriter/ composer Donald Robinson, former music director and keyboardist for the late Grover Washington, Jr. The album, "By All Means" is available for sale now.
