Christian Almiron

Christian started studying piano at the age of 5 but it wasn't until high school when he really started experimenting with his own style and exploring his musical personality. it was at this point that he became committed to music. Christian attended college at SUNY at Purchase where he majored in Jazz perfromance and Studio Composition. His teachers included Pete Malenverni, Chales Blenzig, Todd Coolman, and Jon Faddis among others. While in college he began experimenting with sound engineering and producing his own music. After earning his BFA he earned a diploma in the Recoding Arts at The School of Audio engineering. Afterwards he was asked to assist as a music editor for Motion Pictures which include "Miss Congeneality 2 and "A Lot Like Love". Some composing credits include the FX series "Dirt" and music for Coke, Pfizer, GMC and others. After living in LA he decided to move to NYC. Once settled he started playing and engineering locally as a freelance musician/engineer. Christian has played with,engineered and/or produced with Shakira, Ali Dee(Deetown), John Snieder, Chris Classic, Ray Vega, Mark Eagan, Bob Meyer, Jimmy Cobb, Chick Corea, Pat Metheny, Avashai Cohen, Eddie Gomez, Jeffery Cambell and Russel Malone. Currently Christian is composing for JSM a commercal music production house as well as producing up and coming artists. Christian is currently performing with R&B artist "Sonny Boy" and jazz bassist John Benitez. He hopes to continue performing and producing music FOR dA PeOPLE!
