Christian Lopez and his trio, Joe Taxi deliver a show of roots and Americana folk music with renditions of songs you would never expect as well. His original music such as "Will I See You Again", and "As Far As I May Go" have had radio play in West Virginia and Pennsylvania, and have been making there mark on the region's scene. The Jackson Browne and Johnny Cash flavor catch the attention of many, and the energetic show that is performed captivates an audience. Winners of the WVU Coca Cola Battle of the Bands, Moonstruck Battle of the Bands, and The Ottobar Battle of the Bands. Christian Lopez & Joe Taxi went on to play on The Vans Warped Tour 2012, The 9:30 Club in Washington DC and Pickin' in the Panhandle in addition to over 50 other shows. Christian was also a Hollywood finalist on season 11 of American Idol on FOX. He appeared again this spring on Season 12 American Idol and was named in the top 37 Boys in the country during Hollywood Week. An accomplished stage actor and veteran musician playing in a professional band since he was 12 years old, his sound is seasoned and clean. Christian is an excellent electric and acoustic Guitar player. He is also and astonishing Piano and Harmonica player. Don't be surprised to see him pull out the Mandolin or Banjo.
