Originally hailing from the sunny island of Singapore, Christie has spent most of her childhood traveling and living in different countries. She first started playing the piano when she was 6, and taught herself the guitar when she was 14.
 
Because of the inconsistency of where home was while growing up, Christie always felt a familiarity and a warmth while playing music, no matter where she was in the world. She started posting Youtube videos of herself playing covers of pop songs in 2015 and became an overnight success when her cover of “Halo” by Beyonce went viral. It has garnered over a million views since its release. Christie still posts covers on her Youtube channel regularly and is working on an album of songs that she’s written in the past year, which will be released next summer.

Her debut single Goodness, You’re Mine is due to be released on 20 December 2016.
