Bio
Like a lot of folks I first started learning guitar at around 14 years old. Then wrote my first song at 17 when I had actually acquired a guitar of my own.
I had just been looking around a pawn shop in Eugene at guitars and wishing" ( I was 17 at the time ) I stepped out side and sat on a concrete bench of a pastry shop next door to the pawn shop. A man approached me and asked me if I wanted a guitar and of course I did so I said, yes. He went over to his car and brought over to me a concert sized, old Horner. I took it home and fixed it up. This started my love for guitar. I've always wondered if that man was actually an angel.
This is a true story and that's how I come to write songs. From things and events in my life that I really dont know how to express but in the forum of (songwriting) it just seems so natural a thing to do. When I can express my feelings and thoughts I feel a release and a healing. I'm sure lots of songwriters know what im talking about. Its apart of me.
