Music is something everybody can connect with: a universal language. I love to entertain people and have been doing it basically since I was born. Whether it's a slow classical event or a country hoedown, I'm game for anything!
Inspired at a young age from my family and their musical talents, I have been submerged in a world of music since I can remember. Music today seems to be turning everything into the same bass beating song without any meaning and constantly repetitive music. Don't get me wrong, I like listening to it from time to time, but the music I write is something from a deeper place.
I write music that is easily connectable with other people and can put their own life experiences through my music.
My first influence as a singer/piano play has been Alicia Keys. She's a goddess of music!
More recently, I have become obsessed with Adele and her extremely intense emotional songs. Love her!
After writing my first song for a friend who was the first person I ever knew with cancer, only a year older than me at the time (17), I decided to use my music for something greater than my own enjoyment. Right then I decided that my music could help others. I sold my very first ever written song in commemoration of my friend and gave it to the hospital he was being treated at.
From then I went on to writing songs for other organizations I believed in and thought could use the help, whatever I could do to help with my music, I did it.
I will never stop pursuing my music and will always look for ways that I can help. The stage is where I belong and I hope I can share my passion with all of you and you in turn, enjoy it!
As I have said many times before, I would not be the same without music in my life and will continue to do it not only for my own enjoyment, but to bring smiles and happiness to those around me.
