Bio
Christina Shinkle is a Seattle based singer songwriter keyboard player. She sounds a little like Joni Mitchell and a little like Aimee Mann. She loves to improvise.
The broken treasure of a composted jazz back ground + a crumpled Master of Divinity degree compress into Christina's songwriting. Everything is art material, everything is songwriting fodder. She goes deep, she plays piano hard, her music pours out playful and piercing. She has things on her mind, she writes songs. Life happens, she writes songs. She reads stuff, she writes songs.
She is a spirituality geek, a poet for the Spiritual but Not Religious, and finds inspiration in nature and soulfulness of daily life.
Her debut EP, Cairns, released in 2017. She is releasing various singles this year and is currently in the throes of learning ukelele.
