Bio

Christina has been writing songs since she received her first guitar at 10 years old. During the 1980's, Christina was the lead singer in several worhsip bands and her songwriting was receiving notice. In 1991, she became a founding member of pop/rock group Velvet Bleu, releasing Velvet Bleu "Rhapsody" in a release which receives airplay nationwide. The group performed the concert and festival circuit and Christina continued with a solo release "Capistrano" in 1998. Capistrano was a heartfelt collection of songs written about life experiences during a difficult transition in Christina's life and was inpired by a move to the mystical historic town. Capistrano" is beloved not only by fans but by her musician peers who consider it a lyrical and musical triumph. Most recently," in honor of Oregon's 150 birthday, Christina wrote the song, "Oh Oregon" which she is performing across the state at concerts, parades, festivals and fairs. Influenced by the great singer and singer/songwriters that proceeded her such as Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins, Joan Baez, Chris Kristofferson, Bob Dylan, Annie Lenox, and Christian artists such as Lisa Wickham and Sheila Walsh, Christina continues to write, perform and record an impressive body of work.
