Bio

Fancy an alternative to indie schmindie? Here is one…it’s big and it’s happening fast. With old school blues, Christina Malley brings a refreshing maturity to the term ‘alternative music’.

See for yourself and you will understand that Malley has rewritten the blues, taken that soul by the horns and churned out an original, breathtaking, powerful sound.

So we all know about the Katie Meluas of this world, now let’s hear something fresh. Malley sings with the feeling of Norah Jones but the command of Janis Joplin. Her soulful lyrics will transform perception. After a long, hard day, your tonic is Christina Malley.

From the embodiment of attitude itself in ‘Dr. Feelgood’ (a song that rivals Aretha’s talents) you journey on to ‘Didn’t It Rain’ ready to pour your heart out. You will sing, you will dance, and even shed a tear.

Taking audiences on an emotional rollercoaster, Malley brought a full room to a stand-still with awe and wonder when she supported Jeremy Warmsley, (Liverpool Barfly, June 06). In January 07 Malley continued her success by winning the acoustic section of Barfly’s Rock Star Wars. By January 08, Christina found herself performing in front of 10,600 people at the Liverpool Echo Arena for the Number One Project. As she performed a cover of ‘Sweets For My Sweet’, the whole audience danced and sang along with her!

With amazing stage presence Christina’s voice fills the room. Without arrogance, her nature is humbled (even self-conscious), yet confident. Malley will enthral you with her live act. Capture and embrace the rich voice of Malley before the rest of the world.

It is a promise that Christina Malley is your shoulder to cry on, your feel good princess and your new best friend.
