Christina Rosmini

Christina Rosmini

Using all musical colours of the Mediterranean shores mostly andalousian from its long term islamic rich civilization to the revolutionary screams of Lorca and of the 1936 spanish civil war

Christina Rosmini was born in Marseille and has received from her Spanish, Corsican and Italian origins a shining presence, a warm coloured voice, fantasy… and a strong personality.
Christina likes to share with us her emotional, energical and enthusiastic love of the Mediterranean sea shores.
Her steps have crossed with those of Andrée Chedid, Georges Moustaki, Roland Petit, Jean Marais, José Luis Montón, Etienne Roda-Gil. Composer, author and singer, she sings also Lorca, Neruda, Aragon, Violeta Parra…
Inspired by flamenco, oriental and gipsy musics, Christina’s songs are written mostly in Spanish in a light, poetical, humorous style. They reveal a sensitive and corrosive woman’s glance on personal and universal themes.
