The CD also features Jeff Coffin on sax and Joe Gross on trumpet. Among the tracks on the CD are songs by Leonard Cohen and the Beatles. Green Daniel produced and co-wrote brand new material for this latest project, which is sure to be a welcome and fresh addition to the jazz world.

Vocalist Christina Watson's impressive range appeals to music lovers from all backgrounds. She can swing on a jazz standard, interpret a ballad with mature sensitivity, and then belt out the blues and funk with attitude and a unique edge. Fans have compared her sound to that of Carmen McRae, Bessie Smith and Diana Krall. Classically trained, she also possesses a powerful soprano voice, which is showcased by her role in the Nashville based vocal jazz quartet, 3rd Coast Vocals.

After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music in 2001, Watson moved from Boston to Nashville. Since her arrival in Music City, Watson has performed at local jazz hot spots such as F Scott's, Café 123 and Ellendale's as well as at private and corporate events and concerts in the US, Sweden, France, Belgium, China and South Korea. Watson has also made appearances on Nashville Public Radio (90.3 FM) and at local jazz festivals in Watertown, Franklin and Germantown.

Her musical talents have also earned her spots on jingles and Nashville songwriters' demos as well as invitations to sit in with bands like New Orleans style funk brass band, halfbrass (www.halfbrass.com), and the Tower of Power tribute band, Bump City (www.myspace.com/toptribute).

Watson went into a Boston area studio in early 2004 to record her debut CD, "All About Love," which is now available online through CD Baby (www.cdbaby.com/christinawatson). Her original composition, Half Moon, has received praise from critics and listeners around the globe. Reviews of "All About Love" and music samples are available through Watson's website, www.christinawatson.com.

Not only a performer, Watson is also currently teaching vocal classes at the Nashville Jazz Workshop and coaches private vocal students from her home studio. In addition to her music education at Berklee, she also holds a BA in French from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, and an MA in French Literature from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Watson is a member of the International Association of Jazz Education (IAJE).

Lyrics

A Flower Truly Blue

Written By: Green Daniel / Christina Watson

They say a blue flower
Can never be faithful
She's bound to a grand masquerade
In some shade
Of an indigo hue

She wants you to want her
She needs you to love her
But at the end of the day
She just fades away
She's not truly blue
She's not truly blue

You call me your flower
Your pretty blue flower
I bloom in the daytime
But nighttime is when
I'm so lonesome for you

I want you to want me
If just for a moment
And just at this moment
This hour, this flower is
Truly blue
I'm truly blue

Free

Written By: Green Daniel / Christina Watson

(VERSE 1)
Now that I'm free again,
I get to live my life the way I please again.
I'll make all my own decisions,
What I watch on television's up to
Me again.

(VERSE 2)
Now that I'm free again,
Free to fall for anyone I see again,
All those friends who love me
Will be glad to see more of me
Without you again.

(CHORUS)
I'm free.
Flying on my own these days,
I'm free.
Lying here alone this way,
I never think of you,
But even if I do,
You never really meant that much to me.
I'm free.

(VERSE 3)
Now that I'm free again,
And you're just another guppie in the sea again,
I'll have way too many choices
To notice if your voice is calling me again.

(VERSE 4)
Now that I'm free again,
Free to swing my mood around with ease again,
I won't waste my time denying
I go from laughing back to crying like the breeze again.

(CHORUS)
I'm free.
Flying on my own these days,
I'm free.
Lying here alone this way,
I never think of you,
But even if I do,
You never really meant that much to me.
I'm free.

What Do Your Voodoo Do?

Written By: Green Daniel / Christina Watson

(VERSE 1)
It's not your pretty shoes,
It's not the words you use.
There's nothing you could say
To make me feel this way.

(VERSE 2)
So what's the hex with you?
Was something in the roux?
What is the recipe
For what you do to me?

(PRE-CHORUS)
When I'm in your arms
I feel your magic on my skin.
I can feel your charms that stick like
Needles and pins.

(CHORUS)
What do your voodoo do?
How do your mojo go?
How do your hoodoo woo?
Why do I love you so?
I'm just your juju doll,
You got the gris gris key.
How do the tarot fall?
What have you done to me?

(VERSE 3)
It's not your raven hair,
It's not your savoir faire.
Maybe you just don't know
What makes me want you so.

(VERSE 4)
What does this madness mean?
What has your crystal seen?
What's in your witching well?
What's got me in your spell?

(PRE-CHORUS)
When I'm in your arms
I feel your magic on my skin.
I can feel your charms that stick like
Needles and pins.

(CHORUS)
What do your voodoo do?
How do your mojo go?
How do your hoodoo woo?
Why do I love you so?
I'm just your juju doll,
You got the gris gris key.
How do the tarot fall?
What have you done to me?

All I Need Now

Written By: Green Daniel, Christina Watson

All I need now is something to lose,
Then I'd have everything, even the blues.
Funny, that's something that nobody views as something someone could use.

All I need now is something I'd miss,
Something I'd crave if it ceased to exist.
Never saw much in what losing could do.
All I need now is you.

I could always find joy in a new Prada purse,
Maybe a diamond or two.
But one taste of your love has awakened my thirst,
For something I'd care for enough to despair for.

All I need now is something that hurts,
Something to show me how love really works,
something I need to be painfully true,
All I need now is you.
