In 2007, when she beat over three thousand other contestants across Nigeria to win the Nokia First Chance music reality TV show watched by millions of viewers. She even received a personal congratulatory message from Gabriel Suswam, Governor of her home state; Benue.
Her sound is a profound combination of alternative soul, R &B with a twist of mild pop delivered with powerful emotional vocals, wedded to lush melodies that go straight to the heart. Christine's music resonates the truth of personal experience. Her music can be
emotionally intense and beautiful it goes much further by exploring timeless universal themes of love, friendship, happiness, loss and fortitude in the face of whatever life brings.
On December 31, 2010, her debut album, a 13-tracker titled "Life Under Construction" was released. Her videos have enjoyed rotation on satellite channels like BET, Soundcity and MTVBase and a host of local stations. She recently released a new single called 'my daddy'
She has performed at The Future Awards, 2008, London Calling Music Fair of June 2008 at the Nigerian Pavilion, LEAP Awards, 2009 and several other concerts and music festivals within and beyond the shores of Nigeria.
She recently hosted her own showcase titled 'naked and live sessions with Christine' on April 3, 2012 at the alliance francaise institute, Lagos, Nigeria where she performed and recorded in acoustic style a live ep of four songs titled 'Felicia' after her mother for free
