Christine Saimo

I am a Singer/Songwriter, born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. Classically trained in piano for 10 years; music has been a part of my entire life. Being deeply influenced by classical music, Enya, and Yanni at a young age, I began to write original songs on the piano at the age of 14. Upon moving to Tokyo when I was 18, I've been signed to an artist management company, and began to produce songs for my sister, who is a well-known pop singer in Japan. The songs I've written for her has been featured in Japanese TV drama soundtracks, commercials, movie soundtrack, and has been remixed by Junkie XL for the EA Sports game "Need For Speed - Carbon" soundtrack.
I began to use Pro-Tools to create demos for my own project since 2008, and immediately felt an immense satisfaction in the D.I.Y. style of song production. To gain further knowledge of electronic music production and music business, I am currently enrolled in the Independent Artist Program at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California.
