Bio

When I was young my Dad was in the Navy so we moved a lot and I always had to be the new kid and try to make new friends but it was never easy for me. So when I was 14 my parents eventually settled me and my sister down in a rural city south of Seattle it felt like I was starting all over again and I woud be moving soon. On the first day of eighth grade I was sitting in my math class (which was in a portable if anyone cares) and this guy walks in like 10 minutes and the teacher tells him to sit next to me because I was the only one with any empty chairs around me but we start talking, didn't really think much of each otherso class ends and we go to lunch afterwards I go to choir, I had been in choir since second grade in seventh I was the only guy in my choir and I sang soprano I wasn't even a fucking alto. Anyway I walk in and here is this kid again Isaiah Gleason. We became fast friends. I found his mom was an opera singer and Isaiah was pretty amazing himself so we became a duo, Me singing the melodies and him the harmonies because he just had a natural knack for it. Over the next two years our duo eventually morphed into a full fledged band, gigging all the time practicing all the time. But then (as I now know happens all the time) a girl came into Isaiahs life and he would come and go for the next six months but we as a band stayed steady because I had written pretty much every song and sang all of the covers. After he found he was going to have a kid, he quit. So for the next six years until I was 21, I stayed in that band playing and practicing. Until I met a girl who convinced me to move to Los Angeles.
In los angeles I have been recording and taking lessons and really focusing on where to come from when I sing, how emotionally involved I can be and stretching it further then I thought I ever could . My influences are far to numerous I could spend days tring to figure them all out. Some big ones are Jeff Buckley, Matchbox 20, Alice in Chains, Simon and Garfunkel, The Everly brothers, CSN&Y, Led Zeppelin, Greenday, Van Morrison, The Beatles. I've gotta stop though or I'll just be sitting here trying to think of all my faorites but everyone is my favorite that is my problem
