"How Can I Tell You"

Popjablues RadioHeerde 11 nov 2005 3 Christopher John Blue How can I tell you ? CD828 3.29 7 05

You can tell that Christopher John Blue has already much experience with making music. Most debuts are a start of something and the artist has to grow in a musical way. But Christopher John Blue has already grown in playing, singing and writing songs. Of course not everybody has the opportunity to do this in this way , but Christopher John Blue does. That is lucky for him and for us. "Still awake" is a fullgrown album, very pleasant to listen to.
The opening track"Still awake" has something to tell to you. It is not a fast song, but there is something in the voice of Christopher John Blue, that you will be forced to listen to. Most songs That I like on the record are midtempo.
On " How Can I Tell You ". It starts wit a heavy guitar intro. The voice of Christopher John Blue stays quiet, but fixed with the tempo of the music. The chorus is nice to hear; especially at the end of the song, when the songs grows toward the end. I have already sent the whole playlist to radioDirectx. Greetings,
Jan Nederveen, Radio Heerde

'See You Cry' is a beautiful song by Christopher John Blue. Love the seafaring sway of the verse, instrumental intermezzo and fade out. This track is wonderfully put together with some real nice lyrics, solid musicianship and excellent vocal and harmonies. It's perfectly elegant... and the choice of instrumentation, the mix, and the production masterfully thought out and arranged. This is one song that can leave you drifting and searching in tranquil and enchanted waters... - Magic Potion - MP

"Gregory Piere"
