Bio
Hi, my name is Christy Ellen, and I’ve been singing and writing songs since I was knee-high !
Born in NZ, I moved to Japan when I was 12, and spent most of my late teens and twenties creating, recording and performing music, with a variety of different artists, including many of those who guest-starred on my weekly show, “Jukebox TV”.
‘Took five years off to marry my muse and have kids; and now, back home after two decades, I am in the process of finishing my first entirely self-penned album.
This time around, I will actually be playing most of the instruments myself, having (finally!) picked up the guitar in earnest after the birth of my second daughter, last March.
[ Please excuse the extreme shoddiness of said guitar in these early demos ~ I'm getting miles better every day, I promise ! ;) ]
