I've come to songwriting the long way around which is why it's taken me so long to get here and why my bio is more trouble than it's worth. So instead of writing up where I came from and when, I'm posting the chords and lyrics to my most recent song -- "Unlikely" -- a work in progress about Barack Obama. I wrote this song because I wanted to record my feelings and experience of presidential election and to express my joy. I'd like to invite other songwriters to add to the song by writing other verses, use it to expand our record of what happened in 2008, think of it as an open source song.
