We are currently working the local DC-area gig scene (festivals, clubs, and similar venues). This keeps us in touch with our live play and dance vibe.
We next plan on working on our new original material and regional tours in the mid-Atlantic.
Chronic Funk Disorder (CFD) was formed in 2009 by experienced co-front men Greg Wochos (guitar) and Addison Heard (keys). We were inspired by bands like The New Mastersounds, Orgone, and others. We knew the DC scene was dying for live music of this kind. Out of our mutual passion for this music, CFD was born.
We now play live venues with 4 (and sometimes 5) members. Randy Coleman (bass) comes from an extensive jazz and funk background. Jaime Ballard (drums) has lived the funk culture revival firsthand in his Brittish homeland and now brings his lifetime of experience here.
