Recently relocated to the Gold Coast after doing time in Northern NSW
and Melbourne, Chrystal Lynch is already making waves on the GC music
scene to which she brings an old-school stack of style and class this
city has been thirsty for...
Chrystal is a prolific songwriter and an accomplished vocalist,
guitarist, pianist and an incredible arranger of her own music.
Inspired by many jazz and soul greats such as Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha
Franklin, Michael J, this woman writes music that
harks all the way back to Motown and will take you on a journey
through decades of funk soul and reggae and leave you in the present
with a hope that all that is pure and true of music is not yet lost.
A woman of great soul and strength and a spiritual quester, Chrystal
is true to her name, and her soul and spirit channel her amazing
music.... Chrystal has an astounding vocal range and control, and a
jazz timbre which could melt himalayan peaks, lyrics that touch you in
the deepest places, and a talent for groove which gives her music feet
and wings. She is a perfectionist arranger and composer of
multi-layered harmonies, horn sections, keys, guitars, bass and drums
with a James Brown edge for leading a band.
Chrystal's debut album encompassing many years of work is set for
release early next year and fans across Australia await with bated
breath to hear the musical love child of this amazing mama and the
many amazing musicians from the Gold Coast to Melbourne who have
touched it with their own musical magic.
