Bio

Chuck Allen Floyd's musical career began when he and a group of college buddies formed a band and started playing cover songs throughout southern Oklahoma and north Texas. After forming a strong regional following, he decided to give Nashville a try.

In 2004, Chuck signed a songwriting deal with Blacktop Music Group. Since that time he has collaborated with many of Nashville's most celebrated songwriters as well as some of the best "up and comers" on Music Row. Chuck's songs have been recorded by ACM Vocal Group Of The Year nominee Carolina Rain (How It Should Be), Coyote Ugly Saloon's new group The Coyotes (Later Than You Think), independent artists Matt Nolen (What Love Is; The Road Doesn't End; Why Me); Jimmy Melton (Nobody's Perfect), Jenn Schott (You Can't Argue With That), Josh Evertsen (Who Does That Anymore) and iPac Records recording artist Ansel Brown (Mine's Bigger; The Road Doesn't End; Smoke).

Take a look at Chuck's tour schedule and you'll see that he has never let his songwriting day job interfere with his first love: playing live. Chuck and his band, The Liar's Club, currently perform everywhere from his old stomping grounds in Oklahoma and Texas to states throughout the southeast and even Europe.

Chuck recently completed his first full length album for the Chief Tecumseh label. The debut single, "Livin' Like Rock Stars (in a honky tonk band) rose to #31 on the Texas Music charts. His second single, "Good Mornin' Houston" is currently #34 on the Texas Music Chart and #28 on the Texas Regional Radio Chart. He also recently signed a sponsorship deal with Coors Light.
