Biography

Chuck D Rogers is a singer songwriter from Texas. His unique rocking country sound brings a fresh new spin to Texas music.

Chuck started his musical carreer playing bass for the Denton based hard rock band Thermus. Thermus played for many years and gained large regional recognition. Songs like Manwich and Old School became crowd favorites in clubs and bars throughout Denton and Dallas.

After Thermus, Chuck settled in to raise 3 wonderful children with his wife Lynette. During this time, he began writing songs and transitioning over to the accoustic guitar. Before long Chuck had written enough songs to record a new Texas Country Rock album and began putting together a recording studio to do just that.

With help from John Bucholz -Thermus Drummer, Steve Watkins - Big Train Guitar and Jason Crumpton - Thermus Guitar, Chuck began recording his first solo demo cd Goose Island.

With the CD nearly completed, Chuck began putting together his backing band Texas Convoy. He found John Resse to play lead guitar, Paul Stewart to play bass, and Mitzi Hendrix to rock the drums.

Together they finalized the demo CD and the rest is history. Chuck D Rogers and Texas Convoy are here and ready to rock. We hope you enjoy the ride as much as they do.
