Bio
Got first guitar at aged 11, being advised by his father to invest the ol' confirmation money into Rock n' Roll. It wasn't until discovering the joys of Nirvana, RHCP, Pearl Jam and other 90's groups, that Cian really got cracking on guitar playing, signing up for guitar lessons, with local jazz supremo Mark O'Leary at 13. This opened new avenues, linking Cian with like-minded musicians and new friends. Cian went on to play lead guitar with a number of local bands including 'Dust', 'Blame' and 'Freefall'. Cian pursued a bit of travelling, before returning to his native Cork in more recent times.
2006 saw the inclusion of earlier version of 'Hear me out' on the Southern Fried II compilation. Check out http://www.cluas.com/music/albums/southern-fried-2-3337.htm
2008, 'Grab a Seat' featured on the 'Wednesday Night Music Club' charity cd, which was awarded 4 stars in a review featured in the Evening Echo newspaper.
Recently Cian has supported some leading Irish acts, such as Mick Flannery the Aftermath and Padraig Rushe. Cian is currently working on his debut EP.
