a Memphis-based recording, publishing and production label in 2012. In
just six months, Ciera’s debut EP, Bad Feelings, has been gaining the attention of many listeners worldwide as her songs boldly grace iTunes,
soaring across numerous media outlets galore. “I’ve always had a natural propensity to create,” says Ciera, who prides herself on writing deep
lyrics with her music taken from pure experience.

2013 has been a banner year for Ciera as a songwriter with receiving a Global Music Award for the EP’s first single, “Bad Feelings,” now becoming a smash hit around Memphis with radio stations, including 98.1 The Max, WUMR 92.1 The Jazz Lover and WYPL 89.3. “If I Could,” her second single from the EP, recently surpassed over 700 other competing songs on Homegrown Hit’s “Summer Hit Song Contest” to become a leading finalist in the top three songs. Her stylistic shades and talents are receiving recognition, leading to opportunities to collaborate with some of
Nashville’s top songwriters. A true southern girl, Ciera was born in Texas where her inspiration began with country music. “I was introduced to Reba McEntire and Wynonna Judd as a little girl, and completely fell in love with their sound and style of singing. They were my storytellers,” recalls Ciera, who has developed her own fusion of
singing, taken from her eclectic taste and musical diversity. Other influences such as Patsy Cline, Shania Twain, LeAnn Rimes, Miranda
Lambert, Etta James and Norah Jones have shaped the intonation in Ciera’s voice over the years, highlighting the soulful, bluesy, and
smooth sound seeping inside.
