Biography WOMEX 2010
Diego “El Cigala” world know for his album Lagrimas Negras has united in this project musicians that inspires him in a show.
Jerry Gonzalez, trumpet player, is a legend of jazz, winner of the “Jazz record of the year” of the French Academie du jazz for Rumba para Monk. He has play with Dizzy Gillespie, Eddie Palmieri, Manny Oquendo and collaborate in the jazz movie Calle 54 by Fernando Trueba.
Yelsy Heredia double bass player, from Cuba and usually works with Diego “El Cigala”, Ana Belen, Juan Luis Perales, Chucho and Bebo Valdés.
Diego Del Morao comes from a dynasty of guitar players; He is the son of Moraito Chico and Paco de Lucía talk about him as the future of the Spanish guitar.
The three of them would release their own album on June 28th 2010
