Bio

Cimer Amor was born and raised in NorthEast Philly; he fed on a passion for music. It’s this passion which allows him to constantly grow into a better producer, a better musician. Influenced by everything from Led Zeppelin to James Brown, Miles Davis to Quincy Jones, and Radiohead to Lil Wyane. In the world of hip hop, it was Tuff Crew, Gangstarr -- especially Dj Premier, Dj Shadow, The Alchemist, Timberland, and Scott Storch that influenced him to make his own music and constantly push the boundaries of what is hip hop while staying rooted in its origins. It is in this vein that Cimer started to work with local Philly artists, such as, Reef The Lost Cauze, King Syze, Side Effect, Electric City, Godilla, and King Magnetic. He has worked with numerous other artists such as Sha Stimuli, Born Unique, Rasco of Cali Agents, Sabac Red of Non-Phixion, Q-Unique of Arsonists, and Outerspace of AOTP. He amazed the audiences at the producer showcases of Beats & Rhymes, sponsored by 215hiphop, and iStandard. Teaming up with Equinox of QD and forming the group CAEN Project, Cimer has produced and executive produced his own album. CAEN Project has had 3 songs chart on college radio, and it is blazing its way to more recogniztion. Cimer has had his music placed on A&E’s Philadelphia Parking Wars as well. Some might be happy with these accomplishments, but he only sees them as a beginning. Always hungry, he continues to strive for bigger and better things to come.
