Cinder has just released her new CD Strands Of Time. Currently she is receiving air play on a radio station in Texas on "Post City Radio" and also "Radio Crystal Blue" in Brooklyn NY, hosted by Dan Herman. Her single "Minefield" is now receiving air play on a compilation CD through promotions with Oasis Manufacturing.

Cinder was born in Los Angeles, California and moved to Santa Barbara with her family when she was ten years old. After many years on the road she has returned to make Santa Barbara her home again.

Cinder is Currently playing in a female Duo with singer/songwriter Kate Bennett. Cinder and Kate have been working together for two years now and are steadily working towards making a CD together! Both are strong songwriters and teamed up together after meeting at a "late night' song circle.

Cinder began her career as a Singer/Songwriter by playing her guitar and singing in local coffee houses in and around the Santa Barbara area. She also played several nights a week at the "Holiday Inn Ventura Beach Resort Resort Hotel" in the "Ships Tavern" and also in the "Crow's Nest Lounge." Cinder was a part of the "Classic Concert Series" where she opened for many artists such as: Dave Mason, Al Stewart, Ronnie Milsap, Donovan, Arlo Guthrie, Kris Kristofferson, Don Mc Lean and Many more...

Since 1990, Cinder has traveled to Alaska, Japan and all throughout the North and Southwest of America. In 1989 she met Jazz Pianist Robert W. Brown. Together they formed a duo called "Nightshades." They were quite successful I must add, Playing many Private Parties, Nightclubs and Resort Hotels.

Robert and Cinder played music together for about ten years. They played a wide variety of music ranging from Pop, Folk, Country, Jazz, R&B, and Originals. A few short years ago they gave up their lives on the road to pursue their own original careers in music. Cinder has now released her new CD "Strands Of Time" which covers the past ten years of her life on the road, The heart aches of love and the joys and sorrows of life.

Cinder grew up listening to many folk artists such as Joni Mitchell, Carol King, Karla Bonoff, Judy Collins, Carly Simon, Shawn Colvin, James Taylor, Neil Young and the list goes on. Cinder began writing her own songs when she was a young teenager. She studied voice for several years with vocal coach "Arthur Francis Joseph" in Los Angeles California. Cinder began playing Piano at age eight and Guitar at age ten. Later, she became interested in playing Harmonica and also Native American Indian Flute.

Since the end of Nightshades, Cinder has studied jazz voice at the University Of North Texas and is currently majoring in commercial music at Santa Barbara City College. Cinder is also a Guitar and Voice Instructor specializing in teaching children and adults as well. Currently her days are spent writing new songs, revising old songs and preparing for new horizons.

Her Goal: to help make the world a better place through music and art.
