Finally! A band that plays something positive, and refreshing! Thank God for the Circle of Friends! These are the expressions, frequently sent to the Folk Rock group, Circle of Friends.

All in the name of Love.

On MP3.com, the one time, largest online music outlet. The "Circle" had the distinction, of being nominated by the fans for..Best Artist, Best Album, Best Song.
On August 17th, 2003... the "Circle" Topped the charts with a # 1. For the song "Leigh's Friend"

Lynn Carey Saylor.. Hollywood Studio owner and recording artist,
had this to say about the Circle of Friends song "Never Surrender"

"How good of you to spotlight Ricky and Circle of Friends! I LOVE this song.
What's great about it is that not only is it delivered with heart vocally,
but they managed to make sure it never got sappy (hard to do with a lyric
like this - and I know about that challenge with regard to my own lyric for
"If We Believe"). With Brian May. The rhythm moves in such a way (I like to call it car
driving music) that the feel of it just washes over you and hypnotizes you.
They smartly added just enough alternative edge with the guitars too, so it
never sounds too "folky" or dated and has a nice contemporary, 2003 sound.
I have added it to my "Serenity Station"

They have scored big with Houston, Texas rock legend... ManicD-
In March 2003.. this collaboration received a message from Ken Mansfield (Beatles, Apple Records Manager USA) for their rendition of the song "Something" by George Harrison

"This will always be a special song to me for personal reasons and I feel you did a fine job in your rendition"

Currently, the "Circle" find themselves working in the studio on their second LP.

Finally! A band that plays something positive, and refreshing!
