1. Circus Minor (Feb 2005)

Feeling a bit camera shy

CiRcUs MiNoR's sound is a combination of dark optimism and ethereal energy, taking influences from The Cure, The Black Heart Proccesion, and Joy Division. The music is both thought provoking and uplifting while at the same time engaging and emotional. Their shows are an experience both visually and musically and not something to be missed.

Since the band formed in October 2002, they have attracted and acquired a loyal fan base in their home town of Los Angeles, playing consistently at the Troubadour, Knitting Factory, Viper Room and Spaceland. The band has also played venues up and down the west coast in Seattle, Portland, and San Diego. They will also be featured in two up and coming independent feature films (Little Athens and I'll Be There With You) wich are set to be in theatres in the next year.

CiRcUs MinOR recorded with Ryan Hadlock (producer for Steve Malkmus, Blonde Redhead, and The Black Heart Procession) and Jim Wood (producer for Dishwalla) and released their first self-titled record in February of 2005.

Adam Alt is also a member of Street Drum Corps, and Julie Dicterow has a solo project called Lila.
