Our influences include but are not limited to the following: Rush, Dream Theater, A Perfect Circle, Tool, and Led Zeppelin. We play music that comes from within not tying to popular music or imagery. If you're looking for another flavor of the month band, you're looking in the wrong place.
Ciris first formed in April of 2003. A group of three individuals growing up in Homer, Georgia seeking a purpose to the music running through their veins. Playing through numerous local shows and a few battle of the bands, we begin to hone our sound more towards what we were looking to express. As talent increased, the room for creation grew as well.
However, it came to our attention that something felt like it was missing. That missing link was David Deaver. Showing a prowess at the guitar and with a like-minded attitude towards music, we came to complete the entity that is Ciris. We continue to work hard and strive to create music for people looking for something more.
