Unparalleled ear pleasing sounds. The greatest rapper alive with lyrical content that will pierce your heart.

Biography

Samuel “Ciryl” O’Banner is a producer, lyricist, and vocalist specializing in all aspects of the music genre. With his unparalleled ear pleasing sounds, Ciryl is on a mission to revolutionize the music industry. “Ciryl” is the word “lyric” spelled backwards. The name was selected because the pronunciation “surreal” means unimaginable or dream like, the way he envisions his future.

BACKGROUND
While born in Chicago, Illinois, Ciryl developed his musical talents at his church in Tacoma, Washington, where he played the drums for seven years. At the age of fourteen, he and some friends coordinated T.R.U.E. (Teaching Righteous Unity Everywhere), a gospel rap group that ministered musically at churches and community events across the city. From this experience Ciryl developed his craft and realized that his calling was to minister in music. Ciryl now resides in Orlando, FL and travels internationally reaching the multitudes with the message of Jesus Christ.

“My mission is to spread the word of God and teach the multitudes about salvation through Jesus Christ with music in a fresh and exciting way that has never been heard before.”

Career Highlights
• Performed at the world famous “Amateur Night at the Apollo” talent search competition and became the only rapper to place 1st runner-up in the competitions history.
• Ciryl’s music has had radio play on Central Florida’s #1 Hip-Hop and R&B station 102 Jamz and Volusia County’s local gospel station WAPN 91.5fm.

• He has had newspaper article reviews highlighting his music printed in the Daytona Beach News Journal and the New Smyrna Beach Observer.
• Ciryl’s music can be heard on television across the country where he wrote and produced the opening theme song for his church’s (Jump Ministries International Church) weekly program that airs every Tuesday at 3:00p.m. on The Word Network.

CURRENT PROJECTS
On December 21, 2005 Ciryl released his debut album entitled “Ready to Live”. The Album title is a complete contrast to the Notorious B.I.G.’s first album “Ready to Die”. The lyrical content, diversity, and musical composition make “Ready to Live” the complete package. The project varies in styles from the grunge/rap anthem “Best Writin’ Worst Times”, the futuristic “Hydraulic Bounce”, the passionate and inspirational “Forgive Me”, to Ciryl’s own theme song “C-I-R-Y-L”. On October 29, 2006 Ciryl released the EP “I’m Still Here” which includes the hit singles “Free” featuring Natalie, and “I’m Fresh”. Ciryl’s official sophomore album entitled “Legacy” was released on Nov. 18th 2007.

Lyrics

Fight or Die

Written By: Ciryl

Verse 1

Now let me paint a little picture of the things that I’ve been facin’ lately
Like my man Jolley its no probably I’m gone make it baby
Demons try to play with my mizzy mizzy mind
But I’m focused so I stay on the grizzy grizzy grind
I do music for the King they wanna know ‘who is he’
All I use is a keyboard and a few other doohickeys’
Let me see if you with me
Told shortie you cute but I’m a man of God so ‘No!’ I don’t do hickeys
The ones that should believe in you will do the opposite
I bet they change they attitude once the profits hit
The prophets here listen up I’m doin what I’m called to do until he beam me up and tell me
‘Son its enough’
It’s gettin’ rough I’m in the cut I’m tryin’ to lift him up
The new kid on the block and yeah I’m hangin’ tough
Its dangerous in these streets like a fiend doin angel dust
But I don’t play with demons man I aim to buss

Chorus

Now let me tell you why I’m fightin’ for my life cuz “If I don’t fight then they die” that’s what I’m talking bout
This whole generation need to follow Christ but “If I don’t fight then they die” that’s why I walk this route
I could leave but its not about I so “If I don’t fight then they die” I’ll never shut my mouth
I ain’t perfect and sometimes I get tired but “If I don’t fight then they die”

Verse 2

This is real this is not a game
addicted to this music like its cocain
you reap what you sew man
Plus I make it so plain,
tryin to save a soul man,
back to back so you could even call it Soul Train
My man Hess told me hustle hard and get this Guap (money)
“so what you do?”
I’ma hustle hard and get this guap
See I ain’t worried about these secular artist
Cuz I know that my set is the hardest this is C.A.
We only do what He say
Cuz he the only one I know that prophesied he’d die and rise in 3 days
I gotta keep my sanity
The devil tries to damage me
Accepted Christ and that’s the reason he can’t handle me
When I spit its like a lump upside his forehead
“buck buck” Demon killer “buck buck” Four Dead
Yeah I get it Crunk Yeah I represent His son
And I ain’t scared to say it man the Devil is a punk!

Chorus

As Long As I'm Alive

Written By: Ciryl

Verse 1

As long as I’m alive gotta stay focused keep my eyes on the prize
Even when it looks hopeless don’t believe in them lies
I noticed that I was destined for greatness
I couldn’t hang around my old friends I found myself leavin’ them guys
I got a Word that its my season to rise
I’m goin full blast
New mentality
That’s not a half empty that’s a half full glass…feel me?
So even though the flow is bananas man they still can’t peel me
If it wasn’t for the Lord I’d still be bound in chains
I should have been dead thank God I can still breathe
And now I’m faced with a responsibility if I don’t make it man the only one responsible is me
Me I got a whole family I gotta trust and believe
That they all would know Christ before they leave
At times I feel like a knuckle head
But in Jesus name I keep fightin’ that’s why my knuckle’s red

Chorus

As long as I’m alive I will live for you
As long as I’m alive I will give to you
As long as I’m alive things I go through only makin’ me stronger

Verse 2

It gets hard but I’m still here
So when you see me cry I’m not fakin’ those are real tears
The God I serve is real here
I prayed mercy for my family and now my aunt is walkin’ out that wheelchair
Wherever I go I know He will steer
Its not mine, but His kingdom that I’m tryin’ to build here
So regardless if you feel me or not
I’m still hittin’ the block and know at least one person who will cheer
His name is A.J. hes no longer with us
Lord save us from the enemy he wanna get us
I got the Christ that this world needs
So figuratively speakin’ I got the water to get rid of their hiccups
Get up, that’s what I hear everytime I fall
Get up, you’ve been redeemed gotta tell’em all
This music is the bait that brings in the fish
I got’em hooked
So theres no way I can let’em off

Chorus
