Bio

It is difficult to place Cisco Adler’s sound into one
musical genre– there’s really no confining it. As a
songwriter and producer he floats effortlessly from
hip hop to rock to pop... as an artist he throws them
all in the mix. Such is the case with his latest musical
endeavor.
Cisco Adler & The Pigeons is Cisco Adler, Mark
Goodfeather, and Bon Tweedle. Together they are a
showcase of variety and uniqueness at once, channeling
the lounge-rock sounds of the sixties, vibe heavy
island music, hip-hop beats, and an essence of folk-
Americana.
The band made their live debut in August 2010 at the
legendary Roxy Theater in Hollywood, CA as part of the
3rd annual Sunset Strip Music Festival (SSMF). They
played among heavyweights like Slash, The Smashing
Pumpkins, Travis McCoy, Kid Cudi and Common and still
managed to make waves in the press and blogosphere.
“This is a band I formed to make music while I’m not
making music,” Cisco has said about CA&TP. “I needed
a little side of rock n’ roll with my hip-hop.”
Adler is most widely known as the producer/singer half
of the rap-rock duo Shwayze which had a Top 10 Album
and two Top 40 singles with “Buzzin” and “Corona and
Lime.” Recently, he has kept busy in the little downtime
he has producing/writing songs for the likes of Mike
Posner, Wiz Khalifa, Yelawolf, Big B, G. Love, Mickey
Avalon Unwritten Law, and Dirt Nasty.
Cisco Adler and The Pigeons dropped their debut EP,
March 2011, as the band made their SXSW debut.
