Lyrics

Southern Bound

Written By: Jeremy James, Jesse Gonzalez

Run,
Foundation on the front
Comin up the road, to each your own
Southern bound
If everyone is down
On the stereo, to each your own

We’re southern bound
We’re on the stereo, to each your own
Southern bound
So many miles still left to go
This I know

Hard to reach everyone
But a thousand hearts still march
The southern sun it gleams
The songs we’re singin
Remind me of back home

Hold your head up high and visualize you’ll be there
Everyone will know
It’s a finer freedom, come and chase it
Forever on

If everything seems so far away
So outta reach it’s hard to recognize peace along the way
If everything seems so far today
Grab a hold of anything that gives you love along the way
Alright
Time is changin us
When our thoughts are over-run
All in songs the freedom comes until the sun, it sets on us
We go on, we’re singin all about it
It’s what we know
It’s a finer freedom, come and find it
Forever on

If everything seems so far away
So outta reach it’s hard to recognize peace along the way
If everything seems so far today
Grab a hold of anything that gives you love along the way
Alright

Frame Of Mind

Written By: Jeremy James, Jesse Gonzalez

Single file
What’s the use?
Crawl for miles or stand accused
Tell me child
What’s the news today?
C’mon

Singled out
What’s to prove?
Don’t think twice of foreign issues
If you do
Between now and then
Is so long

I could never fall into your frame of mind
Imagine round and round we spin ‘til you fall dead
I’ve seen so many fires misused, go seek your hideaway
Inspire the open mind to free our thoughts of yesterday

Kindled fire
Social blues
Force your lies on someone new
When you do
See you ‘round my friend
So long

Selfish eyes
Fall in twos
Caution lights and Fuck your views
Someday soon
All shall fade away
Move on
So long

I could never fall into your frame of mind
Imagine round and round we spin ‘til you fall dead
I’ve seen so many fires misused, go seek your hideaway
Inspire the open mind to free our thoughts of yesterday

I shine a light on your shelter
To find out all of your reasons
Watch ‘em fade in the rearview
This is all what I believe in

Rise

Written By: Jeremy James, Jesse Gonzalez

Say what you want while I’m on the rise
Where’s your vision?
All of your anger fuels the fire
Watch it burn away
If you could see what I can see
You would listen
Time and time again I realize
You won’t understand

I walked a million miles to find
True ambition
Paving the road will ease your mind
You can follow me
If you could see what I can see
You would listen
All along the way you criticized me
Now understand

My friend

You know it’s who we are
Ain’t nothing hiding on our side
I know it’s all we have
Along the way it’s all that shows through

Say what you want while I’m on the rise
Where’s your vision?
All of your anger fuels the fire
Watch it burn away
If you could see what I can see
You would listen
Time and time again you criticized me
Now understand

My friend

You know it’s who we are
Ain’t nothing hiding on our side
I know it’s all we have
Along the way it’s all that shows through
I know it’s who we are
Ain’t nothing hiding on our side
You know it’s all we have
Along the way it’s all that shows through

Inspire

Written By: Jeremy James, Jesse Gonzalez

Here's where it all begins
When your heart begins to sing
Inspiration spreads its wings
We're a part of everything
Ain't no need in complicating
What's become of you

No need to offer you my hand
It’s on the table, what I've said
Meditate on all the things I've read
To express it all, what I need to do

Found a place in my mind
Where it’s subtle and serene
Melodies drift on by
And they're carried by the breeze
Carry myself away
There ain't no wasted time 'round here

No need to offer you my hand
It’s on the table, what I've said
Meditate on all the things I've read
To express it all, what I need to do

Satellite

Written By: Jeremy James, Jesse Gonzalez

Patience,
Strikes another chord to nowhere
Taste another song from my heart
Feel it slide inside your mind

Maybe,
We can share the stars in our heads
View them all in constellations
Strive to give it all or nothing
Strive to give it all to you

Another soul to move

Feeble minds dance along
Destined to reprise and fall
Therefore, evolution calls ‘em prude

I know,
There’s a way around the blindfold
Satellite will spare the ages
I will put it off for no one
There’s a way around the gun

A sudden move when you read between the lies
Celebrate your pride
Never close your eyes
And I say
Shatter blues and come alive
Generate your light for another try in our days
Come to realize yourself

Stay if you want to stay
Gonna keep it alive for the sake of it all
Say what you wanna say
Gonna keep it alive
Alright
