Feeling a bit camera shy

City Product consists of two native New Yorkers, Haldan and Scheme, both of whom hold foreign passports. Scheme was born in Jamaica, and moved to NYC when he was a kid; Haldan was born in NYC, but maintains dual citizenship in Denmark. By taking their outside influences like reggae, indy rock, and euro pop and fusing it with the Brooklyn hiphop they were both raised on, Haldan and Scheme have created a unique and satisfying sound. City Product has the warmth of early nineties east coast hiphop and the edge of their friends at Definitive Jux and Mush Records. With consistent political, spiritual, and emotional themes, City Product has a message and a terribly addictive sound. Give it a shot, I'll bet you ten bucks you like it.
