GUARANTEED DRAW!!

CJ Field Has played over 200 and 250 shows up and down the east coast each year for each of the last two years and is currently recording his first major studio album!!!
What makes this even more impressive is that 2010 will be only the third year CJ has even been playing music for live audiences. How did this 22 year old songwriting prodigy, go from playing at his local open mic, to where he is now in only 2 years? It's simple, good music and fun to watch!!!

"It started out as an extra exciting performance to make up for lacking musicianship, being that I had such little experience at the time, now we hope the performance and the musicianship compliment each other perfectly." and with enough original material to fill up his next three albums already written, Field's focus is now set on getting the word out, so a mass audience can finally find out first-hand, what has everyone else so excited!

Before teaming up with former Levon Helm guitarist Fred Scribner, Field had already established himself as a bonified live act in Massachusetts, New York City, Vermont, Georgia, Florida, Texas, and up an down the east Coast while constantly working and writing new material.

CJ, has performed on stage with GRAMMY Nominated artists, numerous appearances with rock legend Gregg Allman's son Michael Allman, and has had the pleasure of spending "non-musical" time with some of his biggest influences such as country legend Billy Joe Shaver in Georgia, and Levon Helm of "the Band" at his home in Woodstock, NY.

Field's first Project In MA "the DamnIt Band" was a local hit in late 2007 and by the end of 2008 was filling clubs to capacity and Field was itching to hit the road and try to win over crowds outside of the Massachusetts.

This led to a stint as a Piano/ Keyboard player for Southern Rock Artist Tony Tyler, and an eventual move to Macon, GA where Field along with bassist Chris Samson from The DamnIt Band started a new original project with Macon native Jessica Atkinson known as Union South. During his time with Union South Craig (CJ) wrote songs that regionally became tremendously popular such as the Light-hearted "Get Back". A duet with Atkinson Field had written about being in a relationship so long that there is no point in leaving.
The song "Modern Day Cash" is a hard, yet dancable tune that also became very popular with it's "tough-country" sound and earth shaking slide guitar. "MDC" was written as a salute to the late Johnny Cash.

After taking the ladder part of 2009 to spend more time with family back home, Field has been writing more now than ever before and producing some of what he refers to as his best work. Scribner currently plays with Blues Artist Little Sammy Davis and was the house band for the Don Imus show and made appearences performing live on national television with both levon Helm and Davis. Right now you can catch Fred from time to time at levon Helm's Midnight Rambles in Woodstock, NY.

Stay tuned for more soon....
