LYRICS: 9/10
Comments: This song is fun, upbeat and inspirational! This song transcends generations and cultures. Outstanding writing!

MUSIC: 10/10
Comments: The music has a beautiful Latin feel to it and the vocals are bold. This song is superb!

MELODIES: 10/10
Comments: The melodies have a traditionally Latin flare but with some very fresh chord progressions. Outstanding work!

TITLE: 10/10
Comments: this title is so unusual it can’t help but to grab attention. It is a perfect choice for this song!

STRUCTURE: 9/10
Comments: The structure of this song is near professional quality. The arrangement is wonderful, the instrumentation is professional, and the engineering is almost perfect. I would recommend reducing the amount of effects used in the vocals and see what you think. Bravo!

MARKETABILITY : 8/10
Comments: I’m not sure that this song is very marketable as a Pop song, but it is extremely marketable as either an Adult Contemporary or World song with slight Pop crossover capability.

EMOTIONAL RESPONSE: 10/10
Comments: This song is amazing! I found myself listening to it several times!

This song has been nominated in the contest as "April finalist" in "gospel/christian"'s category and got an "award" certificate.

LYRICS:9/10
Comments: This song is both playful and full of hope and inspiration. This is poetry set to music. Outstanding writing!

MUSIC:9/10
Comments: Oh those guitars remind me of Carlos Santana! The instrumentation throughout are magnificent! And the vocals float somewhere between spoken and softly sung. The only part that didn’t seem to fit was the ensemble of “La, La, La”s. Otherwise, excellent!

MELODIES:10/10
Comments: The melodies have a frank edge and flow like magic waters!

TITLE:10/10
Comments: This title is a whimsical and superb reflection of the song and is an excellent choice!

STRUCTURE:10/10
Comments: The structure of this song is perfect in every way. You have mastered a professional recording and a superbly composed song!

MARKETABILITY:9/10
Comments: This song has huge marketability and the capacity to transcend genres and cultures!

""let go your heart" reviewed by Bob MacKenzie"

This is one of the more polished pieces I've heard by CJM. The rhythm and tempo, the instrumental arrangement, and to some degree the vocal all suggest Leonard Cohen with an accent. Very cool. The lyric, on the other hand, is not nearly so deep as some Cohen songpoems but has a rather pop feel, more the type of thing once sung by the great Chares Boyer. The lyrics for this one are not posted for us to read, but my guess is that the writing here is tighter than are many CJM lyrics. The guitar work is an excellent addition to the mix as is the occasional keyboard fill. If this is an example of CJM's more recent work then he's definitely moving in the right direction.- Bob MacKenzie - artistlaunch.com
