Are there more than 24 hours in a day in the world of C. Joy?

Five originals in 6 weeks, attending Carnegie Mellon as music majors or even double majors, and involving ourselves in many extracurriculars are what we're all about. Are we loners or just insane? Neither actually. Others may consider us classical musicians gone to the dark side, but we assure you for all the right reasons. God has given us the talent of music and we are simply allowing it to manifest itself.

C.Joy is young but not clueless. We met in Joyful Noise, the campus Christian a cappella group. Who knew six months later we would overcome our differences, and start our own band? In fact, the idea of crossing genres never crossed our minds. Both of us grew up consumed in the classical world and its prejudices against other inadequate genres. Only something huge would prompt us to make a life changing decision such as crossing genres. In our opinion, music is an expression that brings unity, not something that raises barriers. This different approach had simply been hidden under years of dust that had collected due to our surrounding environment. Here we are today, barely together for two months but progressing at an unbelievable rate all due in part to everything God has given us.
