Christmas In Idaho

Written By: Charles K. Bridwell

CHRISTMAS IN IDAHO

I’m trucking through the snow
Way up in Idaho
And I just can’t believe
That it’s almost Christmas Eve
So jingle bells and Ho Ho Ho
I’ll keep trucking through the snow
Way up in Idaho

Now I tried stopping for the night
But, there was no place close in sight
And so as the cold winds blow
Around the ice and snow
I drive so carefully
When Oops..I spill on me
Some hot coffee
And in the fields I go

So jingle bells and a Ho Ho Ho
Now I’m buried in the snow
Way up in Idaho
Now I’m really stuck!
I’m all alone with no cell phone
And I guess I’m out of luck!

Now a day or two’s gone by
And I just want to cry
Cause no one really knows
That I'm stuck here in the snow
No pumpkin pie or Christmas tree for me
Just these empty fields for as far as I can see
So jingle bells and a Ho Ho Ho
My Christmas is right up here in Idaho

Now this morning I awake to see
Someone’s coming to rescue me
Now I'm thinking that all is ending well
But wait! There’s more of this story to tell
For the friendly, Mr. D.O.T.
Has got a ticket, just for me
And for another added thrill
I just received my towing bill

So jingle bells and a Ho Ho Ho
I’ll keep trucking through this snow Written by Charles K. Bridwell

I CAN NEVER TELL

Written By: Charles K. Bridwell

I'm losing my mind it’s happening again
Ever since you girl this happens now and then
First you say you will and then you say you won’t
You want to get closer and then you say you don’t

No! I can never tell what’s really on your mind
An answer from you girl is something rare to find
And if you treated me the way that I treat you
I would be so happy I'm tired of feeling blue

First you’re saying this, and then you’re saying that
No! I can never tell where you’re really at
You love me so much you couldn’t love me more
The next thing I know you’re walking out the door

No! I can never tell what’s really on you’re mind
And an answer from you girl is something rare to find
But if you treated me the way that I treat you
I would be so happy I’m tired of feeling blue

Love can only happen when you’ve given me a sign
But that will only happen in your own sweet time
Now these foolish games are causing such havoc in my mind
It’s getting so much tighter and you’re gonna snap the line

No! I can never tell what’s really on your mind
An answer from you girl is something rare to find
Cause I can never tell! No! I can never tell!

Since You've Been Gone

Written By: Charlie Bridwell

“Since You’ve Been Gone”
by Charlie Bridwell
Muskegon, Michigan

As I walk alone outside
There’s people passing by
I don’t look them in the eye
They might see me start to cry
I’ve been tryin to be strong
But, this pain just lingers on
I’m such a helpless fool
That’s still in love with you

Since you’ve been gone
I’ve tried to be strong
Since you’ve been gone
But, this pain lingers on

In this cold and lonely bed
I’m still reaching out for you
I’ll remember what you said
That you’ve found somebody new
There’s nothing I can do
And there’s nothing I can say
That could make you change your mind
That will make you wanna stay

Since you’ve been gone
I’ve tried to move on
Since you’ve been gone
But, this pain lingers on

I’ve lost all my sense of time
And there’s no reason or rhyme
For all the things that I do
I just can’t get over you
Things don’t feel the same
Was I the one to blame?
For driving you away
If only you would say

Since you’ve been gone
I’ve tried to be strong
Since you’ve been gone
But, this pain lingers on

Since you’ve been gone
Since you’ve been gone

I'm Livin a Dream

Written By: Charlie Bridwell

“I’m Livin a Dream”
by Charlie Bridwell
Muskegon, Michigan

There’s a tropical breeze
And lots of coconut trees
Watching girls in the sand
With a drink in my hand
Coz, I’m Livin a dream
OH, yes I’m Livin a dream

I’m driving fancy cars
And smoking big cigars
I’ve got plenty of toys
And not a care in the world
Coz, I’m Livin a dream
Oh, yes I’m livin a dream

In this dream I’m having a ball
In this dream I’m getting it all
Like big party yachts and a personal jet
Whatever I want, well you know I can get
Coz, I’m livin a dream
Oh, yes I’m livin a dream

Hugh Hefner is a friend of mine
And I can visit him at anytime
We’ll ride around in his limousine
Man, O’man can you dig that scene
Coz, I’m livin a dream
Oh, yes I’m livin a dream

I wear the best damn suit
That money can buy
With an Armani shirt
And my Chavet tie
Coz, I’m livin a dream
Oh, yes I’m livin a dream

The alarm clock rings and reality sets in
I find myself behind that wheel again
Turn Ignition on and push that clutch right in
Now, I’m truckin down a road that, never seems end
Guess I was dreamin a dream
Oh, yes I was dreamin a dream

In that dream I was having a ball
In that dream I was getting it all
Like big party yachts and a personal jet
Whatever I wanted, well you know I can get
Coz, I was dreamin a dream
Oh, yes I was dreamin a dream

Mr. Hefner, Could I have a ride in your limo… P L E A S E
Coz, I’m dreamin a dream
Oh, yes I’m dreamin a dream

Ah, yes! Keep on dreamin
Just keep on dreamin
