C'Krit

C'Krit was born December 15, 1982 as Christin La'Toya Kimble. At or around age 10 or 11 her uncle Reggie "Moe" would always write raps and let her hear them and shortly after she began to write rhymes of her own. "One of the rappers who inspired me as a child was the late great Notorious B.I.G. " At school C'Krit would always participate in anything that was music related such as freestyle battles and singing groups. She also participated in a few talent shows. In 2002 C'Krit became apart of the local Jacksonville, Fla. based label known as Glitteratti Records. 'This is where I got the name Secret and I basically changed the spelling to inlcude my initials C.K." C'Krit Is the only name that descibes me because it means "Beyond Understanding" and most people don't understand me. During the duration of her journey to make it as a rapper, C'Krit has come into contact with many celebrities such as: Mase, The Field Mob, Wacko and Skip, Master P., Silkk the Shocker, Boyz in Da Hood, JT Money, Webbie, Lil Boosie, R. Kelly, Trick Daddy and B.G. She has been featured on local mix tapes in Jacksonville and on many of my fellow local artists songs. "I am now working on my solo album and look forward to letting everyone know my"Secret".
