"Hippo Press - Manchester NH"

**** Fantasterrific. Do not miss !! (highest rating possible)

Hot off the press, Chad LaMarsh's latest release "Anytime/Anywhere" proves this local music maker's show is not nearly over...The 13 track album showcases Lamarsh's original pop rock sound. It's not grunge, hardcore or heavy metal. You won't power off your Discman feeling sullen and depressed after listening. It's not too hard, not too soft. It's just pure rock...the kind people like to hear. The kind I like to listen to.

After hearing only part of one track, a friend asked: "Why hasn't he made it big?" I had no answer, but could it be the need for everything extreme is getting in the way of LaMarsh's rise to fame? If so, my thinking is this: "Anytime/Anywhere" is extreme music-extremely listenable, extremely likeable, and extremely dance and sing-a-longable.

Some songs may sound familiar if you've heard LaMarsh's last album. Several songs off "Anytime/Anywhere", such as "Dancin' through my Door" and "Whisper" were re-recorded and reappear here. By the way, check out the hidden track.

Bio

Chad LaMarsh’s story has become a veritable talking point for the perpetually gigging musician. Play five shows a week, balance the logistics, work on the new material and seek every possible opportunity to be heard. His mantra has always been to perform genuinely and leave it all on the stage. This ethic alone has cemented Chad as a permanent landmark on the Boston club scene. After nearly eighteen years he is one of the most talked about, listened to and sought after acts in the region.

Chad’s perseverance with recording his favorite original material paid off. He finally released his second record (first full length CD) entitled Anytime/Anywhere which is laden with primed for radio songs - from the touching and heartfelt 'Just Remember', to the soulful pop tune - 'Can You Kiss Me' - produced by Peter Collins and Anthony J Resta.

Since November 2005, 5 songs off of "Anytime/Anywhere" have been used on the day time soap "All My Children" - Can You Kiss Me, Dancing Through My Door, Just Remember, Day Trip, and Without Me. Chad's music has also been used on countless cable programs and corporate DVD's.

A Berklee School of Music graduate and Chicago native, Chad has served as opening act for such talent as Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Blessid Union of Souls, Montgomery Gentry, and The Gin Blossoms.

Chad is also the CEO of Bundles of Books charity organization which distributes books to underpriviledged children during the holiday season.

Influenced by such artists as Sting, Lenny Kravitz, Rob Thomas and Seal , Chad LaMarsh's original music is best described as an upbeat blend of pop/rock.
