Bio
Clanklin aka Clara Miller started writing music on the pianos in the theater where she performs with the New York City Ballet. Drawn to tender indie rock and its contrasting dark subject matter to the classical ballet world she grew up in, she explores troubled relationships and mental health struggles among other topics in her writing. In 2019 she met band mate Daniel Hass, a Juilliard grad who she passed unknowingly in the hallways of the shared dormitory they grew up in. An acclaimed cellist and lead singer of his own band, Daniel provides multi instrumental layers to Clanklin's raw sound. Clanklin just recorded her first studio EP, look for it in the summer of 2021.
