Clarence's music and his story are intertwined in his latest CD "Surrender" released May 21st 2021 by Nola Blue Records. Surrender rose to #9 on the Billboard Blues Chart. The CD reached the #1 spot on the Roots Music Chart in multiple categories; Top Blues Album, Top Contemporary Blues Album, and Top Blues Song "If My Life Was A Book". An animated video of the song can be found on Clarence's YouTube channel as well as our website http://www.clarencespady.com. Also on both platforms is Clarence's music video "Good Conversation". Clarence has previously garnered Nominations for Best New Blues Artist (1996 WC Handy Awards) and Best Soul Blues Album of The Year - "Just Between Us" (2009 Blues Music Award). His Live improvisations are legendary, epitomized by the Live Track "Jones Falls Expressway" on the current "Surrender" album. But what differentiates Clarence from all others is his ability and desire to connect and interact with the audience. His band members are all Top notch musicians that invest their soul into the music.
