Hello,
I play drums, and percussion. I also sing lead, and backup vocals. I’ve been an entertainer in the music industry, for 40 years, and have played venues both large, and small traveling across the country. I have performed the following genres; rock, country, blues, jazz, southern rock, classic rock, and latin. I am a full time player with the experience, passion, and dedication making me an asset to a good band. I have a very good attitude. I don’t drink, or have any chemical dependencies. I have great gear, and am self-sufficient.
I have worked with Marshall Tucker, Billy Cobham, JD Blackfoot, and numerous other professional acts. I have opened for major acts, including Willie Nelson, Shelly West, David Allen Coe, Joey Mullins, and Badfinger, The Yardbirds, Vanilla Fudge, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Outlaws and more.
My chief goals are to play good music, with good people, have fun, and make a decent financial income.
I am not opposed to travel, as long as there is a decent measure of comfort in which to do so.
I will close in mentioning a couple of what I consider my strong points. I am an entertainer, and not just a player. I pride myself in a steady meter, laying down the groove, and staying in the pocket. Over the years working with really great producers, I have adopted the K.I.S.S. method very well, and I believe in working with the band to create the best possible sound, leaving any ego checked at the door.
